About Jules,
Your ADHD Coach Mission Specialist

A Life Shaped by People and Purpose

Growing up between Africa and England gave me a deep appreciation for different cultures, perspectives and ways of living. Over the last three decades, I've worked in retail, travel, paediatric nursing and the ambulance service. Each role taught me something valuable about connection, empathy and the importance of truly listening to others.
Alongside my professional journey, I've experienced my own significant life transitions. I was widowed at a young age, discovered I am neurodiverse later in life, and navigated my own menopausal journey. These experiences taught me resilience, self-compassion and the courage to rebuild when life doesn't go to plan.
Through every chapter of my life, one thing has remained constant: creativity. Imagination and the freedom to create have always been an important part of who I am. I love exploring different perspectives, imagining new possibilities, and finding solutions that aren't always obvious at first glance.
In coaching, creativity helps us move beyond the "shoulds" and uncover approaches that genuinely fit you, your strengths, and your life.
When I'm Not Coaching...
I share my life with my partner and our two cats. My male cat, is a shameless narrator of his own daily drama, while my little girl is so graceful it's easy to believe she danced ballet in a previous life.
I like to walk woodland trails and explore nature with my camera. I'm also a qualified Pilates instructor and have learned first-hand how important movement, self-care and listening to our bodies can be, especially during times of change and transition.
I love science fiction, fantasy, tabletop role-playing games and creative writing. Whether I'm reading, writing or immersed in an epic campaign with friends, I never seem to run out of curiosity. I'm a writer at heart. I've written about grief, fictional stories, and in 2024 I achieved a lifelong dream when I published my first fantasy novel.
And yes, I have a weakness for cold chocolate straight from the fridge, preferably enjoyed with a warm drink.
A Final Thought
I'm not perfect, and it took me a long time to realise I didn't need to be.
I've shared some of the things I love and the values that guide me, but that doesn't mean I do them all with ease. Like many people with ADHD, I still have days when I'm working out what I want to do whilst battling with what I feel I should be doing.
And I still get stuck. And overwhelmed. And have moments of doubt.
What I've learned is that progress isn't about becoming a perfect version of yourself. It's about understanding how you work, being kinder to yourself, and finding strategies that support the life you want to live.
If any of this resonates with you, I'd love to hear from you. Please get in touch and let's explore how coaching could support you on your journey.
